Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of OnlineVCard's digital business-card service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to bind that organisation.

2. The Service

OnlineVCard lets individuals, businesses and teams create shareable digital cards (a public page at a chosen link, with QR and contact-save). We may add, change or remove features over time; we won't remove a core capability of a paid plan you're on without reasonable notice.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate details and keep your password secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
• Organisation admins are responsible for the seats they manage and the members they invite.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content; to impersonate others; to send spam; or to attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the platform. We may suspend or remove cards that violate this section or applicable law.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you publish on your card. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and display it. You're responsible for having the rights to any images, video, logos and text you upload, and for confirming ownership where we ask (e.g. image/video background uploads).

6. Plans & billing

• The Free plan is free with no time limit. Paid plans (Pro, organisation batches) are billed in advance in your local currency with tax-compliant invoices.
• Prices are shown per your detected region; taxes may apply. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled before they end.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. We never take a card offline for non-payment — premium features simply pause while your link, QR and contact details keep working.

7. Refunds

If a paid plan isn't right for you, contact billing@onlinevcard.com within 14 days of the charge for a full refund of that period, provided the plan wasn't substantially used for organisation batches. Statutory withdrawal rights (e.g. EU consumer law) apply where relevant and are not affected by this policy. Renewal charges are refundable pro-rata at our discretion for unused, unstarted periods.

8. Availability & data

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Your data is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU); see the Privacy Policy for how we handle it, your GDPR rights, and retention.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the law. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy; you can export your data first.

11. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to our operating entity's registered seat, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app before they take effect; continued use means acceptance.
